We received a brief message from our intrepid hikers after the second day of hiking yesterday:
The Hope Lake camp was beautiful, on to Deception Lakes.
Also, unfortunately Cathy Mayhew had to drop out after one day because of an injury with her right foot. Luckily, there was a short two mile exit route off the trail, so Frank and Marcus hiked her out to Tunnel Creek trailhead where she got a ride back to her car at Stevens Pass.
