Sunday we left Minor’s Creek Camp and the Pacific Crest Trail and hiked out 6 miles to the Suiattle River Trailhead finishing over 58 miles on our 9 day trek. We met friends and relatives, some even hiked up the trail to meet us coming out. A fine lunch was had of REAL food with drinks and we celebrated a fantastic trip by all. A big thank you to our support hikers, trail angels, and sponsors who made this trip possible. Look for a link to our 2017 video by Derek Torry soon! Great photos by Ken.
So good to see such happy faces. Wish I could have been there in person to celebrate your accomplishments! My heart and prayers were with you, though.
I looked forward to tracking your progress and to see the fantastic photos each day, too!
Thank you, God, for their safe journey.
I felt really good about the hike. Good company, good laughs, hard work, great scenery and even the dusty trail, all good. Stehekin was a mystical place of my dreams since chilidhood which finally became a reality.
Oh, I am so glad you are safely back. Hearing thjs am about lots of PCT closures.
