Day 3 – Up to Spring Camp

They got into camp on the Methow river about 3:30 pm yesterday. Today they have a pretty good uphill. 5.7 miles to Spring camp. They will gain 2,200 feet and camp again at around 6,000 feet with wonderful views from camp if the smoke is not too bad.

One of the hikers in the group who goes by the name of AC spoke with Mary Malone, staff writer for the Bonner County Daily Bee, about what convinced him to to do the Pass To Pass hike for his second year.  You can read it here.
