Two trips down and one more to go for 2019!
Trip 2’s team was waiting, as planned, at FR 5603 this morning. Once the hikers all arrived, both teams visited and posed for some photos before transferring the community gear and llamas.

The team for Trip 2 headed to the Blue Spruce Saloon in Packwood for a celebratory lunch before parting ways.
Trip 3 hit the trail on what was described as “a stunning day”.
Of the three hikes for this year’s event, Trip 3 is the longest at 52 miles. They will be traveling through the Indian Heaven Wilderness on the flanks of Mt. Adams.
