We are getting limited information because of the high elevation.

Yesterday was a great start “no altitude sickness and no afternoon thundershowers.” Dinner was at 4 pm and most hikers in bed by 6 pm after an early morning start. “Fun companionship!”

The hikers are up early and hiking by 8 am today. It looks like they are climbing Army Pass 12,310′ this morning and headed for Solidad Lake.

Cottonwood Lake photo from recon hike the week before- they passed above this lake yesterday.
