Brief update from the Trip 2 team Monday evening. Trip leader Irene reports:
“Rain stopped just as we woke up for a third mosquito-free day. Bumping River was low and easy. Enjoying getting to know each other and watching the beauty unfold.”
Monday the team waded across the Bumping River (photo above), which is typically cold and about knee deep.
The itinerary calls for camping Monday night in a beautiful meadow near Crag Lake – lots of grazing for the llamas and plenty of room for tents. Tuesday the team is scheduled to hike approximately six miles to Anderson Lake.
