Trip leader Katie reported Monday:
“The Trip 5 team left Dewey Lake at 8:30 a.m. and met our trail angels at Chinook Pass Trailhead at 10:15 a.m. The team was blazing into the ending trailhead! We couldn’t have asked for a better experience. Until next year!”

Trail angels Tony and Gail reported mid-afternoon:
“All is good. We delivered the llamas to their owners and everyone is on the road.”
We love our trail angels. Thank you!
Bob and Janet Schimpf own two of the llamas — Warf and Faramir — supporting this year’s hikes between White Pass Trailhead and Chinook Pass Trailhead. They are much appreciated, long-time PasstoPass partners.
This is the final year llamas Amos and Cedar, owned by Ron and Sara Pursley, will support PasstoPass hikes. Ron, Sara, and their llamas have been excellent partners for nine years. Ron and Sara have loaned their llama trailer, and the llamas have walked with us for no fees. PasstoPass has only paid for transportation to the trailheads. Thank you so much for trusting us with your llamas!

Amos, Zoe, will be missed. Thank you so much for loaning your wonderful Llamas and trailer. We’re true Llama believers now! Trail Angel’s Mary and Mike
