Our team of 5 hikers, some local and some out of state, assembled yesterday in the Golden Trout Wilderness within California’s Inyo National Forest to hike into Jordan Hot Springs.
Starting at an elevation of 8,765 feet, they hit the trail just before 3PM, arriving at camp by 7 PM where the elevation there is 6,510 feet.
The hot springs, which are damned up next to a creek for a nice cold plunge, will be a welcome treat after that elevation change.
While thunderstorms were in the forecast, the team had perfect weather, a beautiful sunset, and a half moon watching over them last night.

Bless you all for sharing your explorations! And another thanks for sharing the map! 🙏🙂❤️🙏🙂❤️
We’re happy to hear you’re enjoying them. Stay tuned for photos!
