After yesterday’s soaking rain and thunderstorms, today’s sunshine helped to finish drying out the gear.
And probably the hikers and llamas, as well!
By mid-morning, the team hiked a little over 5 miles to Navigation Campground.
There were some deadfalls along the way, including a 9″ log, which put Trip Leader Brian’s saw to good use.
“Everyone is feeling good and glad to be here. Especially since it’s not raining.”
The team will spend their last two nights here before coming off the trail on Friday.
