Monday marked the start of Trip 12: Car camping and day hikes in Joshua Tree National Park.
Trip leader Derek reported Monday evening: “Everyone is almost here. We’re having dinner, telling stories, and getting to know each other. Had a good hike to some old Adobe ruins. We used cacti to give each other tattoos to commemorate this great trip.” (Only the Trip 12 team knows for sure.)
“Tomorrow we visit a dam where the water is running strong. Looking forward to a good day.”
This is another early trip in the California desert. There is no llama support for Trip 12.
