Car camping and day hiking in Joshua Tree National Park concluded Wednesday.

Trip leader Derek reported for the Trip 12 team: “The team was up around 7 a.m. and packed up to leave camp around 9:30 a.m. We hiked Key West for two miles and then we went our ways. Everyone had a good time, was healthy and safe, and thoroughly enjoyed each other‘s company. Lots of time making new friends and new connections — including the owls and the coyotes that scared the beegeebees out of us every night.”
