Trip leader Brian reported at about 7:45 a.m. Tuesday morning for the Trip 14 team:

“Saddled up and headed for the trailhead. Going home day.”

By 10:30 a.m., the team had hiked the last 5 miles and come off the trail at Falls Fork Trailhead. They successfully completed the Tamarack Lake Loop, hiking approximately 23 miles over 6 days.

Brian said: “And here we are! Trails end is always bittersweet, but what a trip!”

Trip 2

We are continuing efforts to resolve technical difficulties with receiving the Trip 2 team’s updates. The Tuesday itinerary for Trip 2 calls for hiking about 4 miles and camping at Snow Lake, which some hikers think is the best campsite on the route.
